Fin tree objects are hierarchically organized under surface objects such as windows or exposed walls.

The Fin object, when selected, provides an entry point to the roof data on the Properties For: Fin dialog. Here, you can view basic Fin data such as the Fin name and type (horizontal or vertical) as well as dimensional and location (relative to parent surface) data. This data affects thermal and shadow calculations and energy simulations that are performed on the project building.
